5 Tips today for the best tomorrow!

Do you find yourself constantly saying "I'll start tomorrow" or "I'll start Monday"? Tomorrow usually gets turned into next week or next month, and then you never start. All of this just to end up feeling overwhelmed and not so hot about yourself. Don't worry, you're not the only one that struggles this way! If you want tips for steps you can start today for your best tomorrow keep reading.



  1. Start your day with a win, don't overcomplicate this. You can start with something simple like making your bed!

  2. Make a list of what you are grateful for. An example is having an able body, having a roof over your head, and your family. When you have to pause and savor the little things, you will cherish them more.

  3. 5 minutes of joyful movement. You can do 10 kitchen counter push ups while you make breakfast. If your family is on edge try throwing some music on and dance out the tension!

  4. 5 minutes of tidying up. Wiping down the counter and sweeping everyday help so much! I also find keeping a "tidy" basket helps. The one in my closet is used when I do a swift closet clean out, that way I'm not overwhelmed annually doing this task.

  5. The FINAL tip and most important one. Take 5 minutes to do some internal work. It can be acknowledging what made you cranky towards a loved one, or use this time to try a new hobby. If you like to draw take this time to make a quick sketch.

This whole list won't even take 20 minutes to complete, unless you have one of those overly complicated comforters that take forever to get situated. When trying these tips be in tune with yourself. None of these have to be done perfectly, the whole point is to start. You will most likely find once you start the 5 min will fly by, and you will be 5 steps closer to your best self!
